I'm trying to figure out the tach. If it's a factory 4 speed car it was built with a factory tach. That tach is in the correct spot but it's not a factory tach.

Could you get a gauge package on the console or it that aftermarket? Is it the same as a Chev?

No optional gauges on 1966 Canadian Pontiacs. All we got was speedometer, fuel gauge, ammeter and lights for temp and oil.

The console is the same as Impala (or same as Grande Parisienne if it's a Caprice).

The US cars had optional oil and temp gauge, one at each end of the speedometer head but their 66 full size Pontiac clusters had individual wires for everything and our's had a printed circuit.

This is a US cluster I converted and installed in a Grande Parisienne about 10-12 years ago.

Would'nt the clutch-brake pedals have chrome trim?

Sweet old girl, and he's not terribly greedy. Suspect the accelerator is the replacement item, not the rubber brake and clutch pads.

Yes it would have had that originally but as long as it's the original cowl tag (and it sure looks like it), it all looks good.

I was noticing that the rear wheel opening mouldings are missing from either side. I suspect therefore that this car had fender skirts on it originally. Check out the factory promo pic below, noting the mouldings.
