Turn signals question

Hey there, I recently purchased a couple of 1965 turn lights on ebay (from American Pontiacs though) and it feels like they don't fit like a glove. Am I missing some brackets which lower the light in this bumper gap? Or American bumper or light is more narrow? The socket also looks different, but I assume it's not a huge problem.

P.S. I'm missing one of original Parisienne turn light cables, does anyone have a spare one?

Those appear to be 66 units, maybe for a Lemans?

Yeah, the ad said 1965-1967 Lemans/Tempest.
Are they smaller than Parisienne's?

Yes, Lemans/Tempest are smaller than Parisienne's.   Parisienne's are a B-body (fullsize car), same as Impala, etc.

Lemans/Tempest are A-body (mid-size), same as Chevelle, Skylark, Cutlass, etc.

Ouch. The shape looked so similar on the pictures so I grabbed them. I guess I'll be looking for Parisienne's specifically.

What are you talking about re turn light cable? Can you post a photo? I've queried a buddy with a 65 Catalina to see if he can help you out.

This guy. I assume one end is connected to the turn signal assembly and the other goes to the engine bay and connects to the harness by radiator.

Thanks.
