Looking for some power window stuff.

Team,

I'm looking for some 1969 B body power window parts. Longshot, but in particular, an entire window wiring harness for a 2 door.

Would be most interested in the entire harness, but would take just the 4 plugs that attach onto the switches, and maybe the plug ends to the drive motors. Could make my own harness no problem, but the connectors are important.

Not entirely sure exactly of what years or models will cross over into a big 69, but I believe all 4 switch plugs were the same design, 64-77.

Also needing 4 decent panel switches, along with the (second longshot) associated door card retaining clips. The switches need be of the pre 72 rounded corner type.

I know most of the parts are available new, but I'd prefer the "forgotten under the bench" variety.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks, Mark

Mark I have a lot of random parts and harnesses out of a 68 4 door Bonneville including vent window motors and door motors. If interested I will try to locate the stuff this weekend

Bill.

Mark, if it's not urgent I might be able to come up with some of that if the planned fall auto wrecking trip happens.

Thanks Bill and Carl.

Yes, not really urgent.

Bill, it would be nice to make a trip up for a coffee, it's overdue.

Yes it is. I got called back into the plant to help the maint dept. so it might take a bit of planning to do the coffee thing but I am certainly up for it.

Bill.

Converting the convertible to power windows? Good idea!

All convertibles and 4 door hardtops should have power windows as I see it. It was probably a costly option at the time, so it was usually left off the checklist. But I think most people never realized until the car showed up as to how nice of an option it might have been.

Ragtop, top down, getting too windy or chilly, putting the top down or up, move the windows you want from the drivers seat. No stopping, climbing around inside or walking around the car to hand wind them. My 67 Grande has them, being able to move them all from the drivers seat is great. And you do move them a lot.
