Did anyone catch the Beaumont with the redline snow tires? I had a set on a 71 Skylark years ago.

Yesterday I hauled the 66 Custom Sport hulk to the shredder and I left a mint pair of 14" snow tires on it. Maybe I should have saved them!   I noticed the Pontiac Rally II rims on it. I suppose all the guys who don't know Beaumonts will have thought those are factory Beaumont rims.

Carl, I have a mint pair of 14" studded snow tires that are from the 70's, made in Austria. They came with a 1965 Nova I bought several years ago. I have kept them for now, not sure what I will ever do with them.

Frank

Carl...  I'm surprised for someone who lives in Winterpeg to have left the snow tires...LOL

I'm actually almost an hour from the city but I love the bad rap it gets. It keeps people from moving here, thus we avoid overcrowding!

Truth be known, the average annual snowfall in Winnipeg as shown online is about 45". To put that in perspective, Toronto is 47", Calgary is 135" etc. If I was selling snow tires and could only pick one location I don't think it would be Winnipeg!

But don't tell anyone. We love having 250,000 square miles of land with less than 1.5 million people. I like my elbow room!

Found our dream house north of Winnipeg. You never know! Maybe I'll show up at a 2025 Coffee Meet

20 minutes away, due east, so qualifies as neighbors out here wink. Better bring them, you just won't use them quite as often..

That is so cool. Really shows the size of that building when it's empty. Where do you sign up to help park cars for Reliable?

I could handle your humid mild winters but my wife's health in those conditions dictates otherwise. Otherwise we love the east coast.

Those are pre 1972 Rally II centre caps with a custom leucite maple leaf centre vs. the original PMD centre. Those wheels look effing amazing on the Beaumont btw.
