Norman Lear died at 101 years, 57 bombing missions over Germany


All in the family too etc. He died, did not know he was a significant war veteran. I loved every one of his shows.

Norman Lear died at 101 years, 57 bombing missions over Germany


I knew he was a trail blazer, but reading his bio was fascinating. You know Norman Lear was still overseeing shows in development, in other words he was still working at 101 years! He sounds like my father, and they were born the same year & served in WWII.
