All orange for MacKinnon Chevrolet inline sixes & small block V8s. No logo on the valve cover(s). 65/66 Studebaker used Chevy MacKinnon sixes & small block eights, but they were black with yellow valve covers and some say they differed from the production Chevrolet versions. Do you know anything about them, Todd?

It was all heresey about the Stude Chevy V8's being different. Some said they had higher nickel content in the blocks. I've also heard all engines from MacKinnon had higher nickle content than the American engines. I'm not aware of any other differences.
Thats the picture on whats in my car so it was done right with the exception on a few touch ups. im putting it back together after many years and trying to stay a stock looking as I can.
you got a retired wood guy doing mechanics and auto body so there will be lots of pop quizzes.
