Happy birthday 427Carl

I noticed this 2 minutes before midnight on his birthday, Feb 9th. Those of you who have been around here a long time will remember Carl Hicks who used to particpate a lot here but we haven't seen around for a number of years now. Anyway, I noticed that Feb 9th is his 75th birthday. He likely won't see this but happy 75th Carl, we miss seeing you here.

Happy Belated Birthday, Carl.
It was confusing to have so many Carls around here but I would rather have more Carls, as in your presence here.
I hope it was an enjoyable time.

Thanks for all the happy birthday wishes. Im still here in Clinton Ontario. Did turn 75 on Friday, and Im still working part times in diesel repair shop. I do miss all of the conversations we had in the past. Ill try to enlighten you with my sense of humour in 2024.    Have leaned towards later model muscle car.  And trucks

You know, my dad always threatened to retire. When he finally did, he fought his property assessment himself and won! After that the Province approached him at 81 years and asked him to work for the Board of Negotiations, which he accepted. Every month he would travel across Ontario for a hearing where he was an Arbitrator. Not a bad use of time in his eighties. He still fished & hunted, and as always he made time for family.

A rolling stone gathers no moss.
