On that lead picture of the K1500 with gooseneck 5th wheel trailer, what would help is a dolly. Hook the dolly to the 5th wheel, then drop the gooseneck trailer kingpin onto the dolly. No more overload condition.
So, what is he using for brakes? That pickup is not air brake equipped... Scary thought...
