Legend has it that after hearing Mr. Duntov say in his heavy accent:

"All Corvettes are high performance cars, the difference is only in degrees"

Many young enthusiasts inquired at their Chevy parts department about the special Corvette grease!!

What he was talking about was all 1961 Corvettes had a 283 V8 Engine but several HP ratings.

The various HP ratings were differences in degrees of tuning, not a special lubricant!
