GM power bucket seat parts wanted


I need to find a pair of little pulleys for a GM power seat track. I don't know the diameter but they are likely around 1 1/2" OD, maybe even a bit less. They are both the same diameter but one is a 1/4" shaft and the other one is a 3/8" shaft. I am not picky if they are metal or plastic. I do need to be able to drill them for a setscrew unless they are original GM plastic pulleys that have a flat side and just press on to the shaft.

Bought small pulleys from Princess Auto to make a tubing staightener for brake line. They may have what you need.

Would it not be possible to use the directly coupled motor and transmission that came with the assembly? Shorten the coupling shaft, turn the assembly on an angle?

In that the two pulleys are the same diameter on the B Strato seat, I can't see any advantage to using that style. But the belt system certainly is mechanically neat to see work,

 If I could find someone who could supply me with those pulleys and cables (need just the cable itself), I could cut down a regular power bench track to make myself a 6 way bucket.

With the cables I have I'd like to mount them separate but that is exactly my plan B, direct drive at an angle under there. 

GM did it with one of their models, so I can too! I've seen one of these with the angle mount but I can't recall what it was in.

 Are they aluminum, steel or plastic that you bought? I assume not plastic.

I've been doing some online browsing and I think a local hardware store may get me started on pulleys. I'll just have to strip them out of something like this and then drill them for a setscrew.

They are advertized as a pulley block pulley. Smaller version of this.2-1/2 in. Pulley Block Pulley

Yes, I looked at those. 1 1/2". That might well work. I have to figure out my mounting first to make sure I have clearance. I might have to go smaller. I just have to drill and thread it for a setscrew.
