Wow, that's crazy.  The storm chaser thing takes a special kind of person, and I imagine their efforts have helped experts study tornadoes much more closely.  The devastation these things cause is horrible, and selective.  Like one street will be torn to shreds yet a couple of streets over is almost untouched.  I hope I never have to experience one of these personally.  I can't imagine how it must feel - hurricanes and fires are bad enough, tornadoes are nuts.
