Summer is here! What better way to enjoy the season than to cruise around in a 1967 Acadian Canso Sport Deluxe! Long time Poncho member Jim Russell's mother-in-law Sherri Jamieson is the proud owner of this car. Jim tells us more about this beautiful Acadian:
My mother inlaws 67 Canso Sport Deluxe:
This one owner car was given to Sherrie by her parents on her 16th birthday in 1967 and has great sentimental value.
Having just over 66 thousand original miles it is powered by a high performance 327 cubic inch V8 motor along with a 4 speed transmission and dual exhaust.
The vehicle also came with the rare U15 speed warning option that still works today.
The exterior is painted Candy Apple red and sporting 66 Pontiac hubcaps.
It has the original black and white factory interior along with bucket seats, console, floor shift along with all the unique trim and emblems inside and out.

Absolutely beautiful car, not only is the car a wonderful car, but to belong to the same owner for all these years, and the lady drives a Stick Shift too, awesome, enjoy the summer.

Any of us would get excited upon seeing one of these rare cars, but factory equipped with a 327 4-speed, with the original lady owner, well now you are talking about something exceptional.
I'll bet that Acadian drives like a dream with the strong yet civilized 327 that motivates that light car like a bantamweight boxer.
Finding one with the original owner, with the one person who has overseen the car over all these years, is like the Holy Grail.
