Got rid of one of my old wheel covers today

My niece and family visited today, her daughter Josie left with a souvenir.

I gave her a choice, she picked the shiny 62.

Who would have imagined a child of these times would want a old hubcap. This is sure nice to see.

But really, it's quite a nice looking cap, and hopefully she'll treasure it and this moment in time with your family for many years.

I told her I was 2 years older than her when I learned to drive, it was 3 pedals and 3 on the tree, only things with a floor shift were trucks and British cars, and no one had an automatic. She liked the 62 because it was the same number on her house at home in Stratford, ON.

I enjoy little people, I make them steer my boat when we are out on the Bay. Boat not in yet so didnt get the chance to try her steering skills out. My oldest granddaughter will be 16 in July and is eager to get her drivers license. She steered the boat most summers and drove my Tacoma 5 speed at 15, my 98 automatic Silverado at 15. We can only wonder what these kids will be driving when they are our age?
