So my the 12-volt battery fails in my electric car.
Yes, they have 12-volt batteries.
Stamped 09/2016, can't complain about that.
The correct replacement is almost $300 and that's a 330-amp battery.
I went to the forums for that car and quickly found out that you can substitute.
This internet is a dangerous place.
I got the measuring tape out.
It did not take long to realize my priorities needed to be put in order.
During Covid, I bought an undersized, NAPA battery and used it in different vehicles.
This year it was used in the white Pontiac.
It fit in the electric as the forum said !
Poor Pontiac.
So, no need for a silly $300 battery.
The electric car battery went in the Cougar as it will hold a charge long enough to move the car around when I need to.
So where am I going with this ?
Like I said, It's all about priorities !
The white Pontiac now gets a new AC Delco battery
Just call it a cost savings plan.
