That car is so beautiful it almost makes me cry. Many details are right if you are a stickler. It looks like the Bendix disk brake master cylinder is stock but plated. The upgraded wheels look like something off a BMW and give a competent look. Modern rubber is a reality if you want to drive on the highway with traffic. The cushion grip wheel is a nice upgrade (I'm not crazy about the '68 stock N30 wheel). All those little things could be changed back to stock easily inside an afternoon if desired (except for the modern a/c), but I think the upgrades are tasteful.

The ET engine code is for the L35, the 325-horse 396 backed by a TH400, which means 2.73s out back. All factory a/c 396 Beaumonts in '68 were supposed to come with 3.07s regardless of transmission or horsepower rating.

I chatted with the owner on Facebook a few months ago. It is a great looking car. The owner spent over $6000 adding A/C to the car. He buys and sells a lot of nice classic cars. This one was is his personal car. It is one that I didn't think he would sell. If I remember correctly, He named his son Beaumont.
