I noticed a interesting trend that seems to have really balooned this year.

Young amiture photographers taking photos of everyone's cars at cruz-ins.

Some post them on-line with their name watermarked, of course, but other's are more down to earth.

Josh approched me Tuesday and asked if he could do some detailed photos of the white car.

He then emailed me the photos and said "if I wasn't going to use them, would he have permission to post them ?"

You can argue with results !

I'm glad the car is to be a part of his portfolio biggrin

IMG_9684.jpgNice picture, seems we have LOTS of car show picture takers, but only a few Photographers that actually take a good picture.
The wife took a picture of our 64 the other day with her cell phone and it turned out pretty good from a cell phone. Have seen
others that with good camera's that don't show the colours right etc.

I'm not too crazy about the couple of guys that show up every week and take photo's of all the cars. One day I asked both of them what they do with the photo's, and they say they post them on the internet. Not sure what this leads to, but I have some anxiety of them taking photo's of my cars every week and posting them.

One of our local Photographers goes to every car function he can get to on Vancouver island and posts in his website. He also has pictures of old race tracks on Vancouver Island. Pretty neat to look at if you have a few hours to use up. As far as I know he does not profit from taking these picture. Just a passion.

I understand the anxiety.

Every time that the Green Monster shows up online, the unintelligent postings fly.

But for the enthusiast, it's a chance to see some cars that you would never ever see.

I was just looking at the Chipman Alberta car show from June.

A 66 CS Parisienne convertible and the cleanest Blue/blue convertible maybe anywhere.

Maybe members, I don't know.
