Not cheap for the condition, but it's a '66 Sport Deluxe convertible, a claimed 327 car, originally Powerglide but now a 4-speed manual, many mouldings present, and it appears to be a factory power window car.
Updated master cylinder and some bolt-on go-fast parts.
Certainly worth investigating, but $23,500 is lofty starting point. Check the frame, as the boxed convertible frames tend to rust
They didn't make many of these cars and so I conclude they must have a low scrappage rate.
Jeez, times have changed when I see that car as restorable, and yet I remember back in about '90 when somebody scrapped a highly restorable 738-series SD-396 convertible with disk brakes & TH400, bumper guards and who knows what else, you realize you don't know what you've got until it's gone. That one is saying, "save me."

I don't judge a man by how far he's fallen, but by how far back he bounces - Patton
I have been talking to Rick about his rag. Cowl tag shows A31, (power windows), A51, C06, M35, Top06, paint F, trim 901. I would like to acquire and restore this car, (almost finished my 66 SD coupe), but asking price is too high for me. Rick says he has original 327, 10 bolt, but rust in 1/4's, trunk body mounts etc. all the usual stuff so would need frame off and then the frame condition etc????...... I need this rag but.........great potential and awesome car.
Looking in at Haggerty values he seems to have got it about right according to Haggerty. A tad high but we all know there is that obligatory negotiation.
