The 350 is a sport roof car.

I never understood the other roof line in these cars

Regarding the 427 Caprice , I have been following this car for over 20 years . It was a Montana car offered on eBay or $6-8K USD if I recall .... ended up in Winnipeg where it was offered out again at $12K when I went to look at it( about 15 years ago)  . It is all original and #'s. I passed on it as my plate was full at the time . It has been for sale for a few years now , and most recently at our local collector auction where it did not sell once again . Regarding the Yellow / white 4spd Impala.... looks like a good builder . In my younger years , I'd be all over that one

Howmac... Not many green 69 BB's around. I think this car was for sale In Huntsville Ontario a few years back? I'm not sure but it sure is coincidental...

Bingo!  The Sport Coupe is so much nicer than the Custom Coupe, IMHO.  4-speed car... no brainer, small block or big block, it's just a cool car.

I also like the Sport Coupe body style. I originally didn't like the formal Custom Coupe style but I run hot and cold on them. It really depends on the car.

Attached is a picture of the Impala Sport Coupe from the '69 brochure. I modified it into an SS427 and created the Z21 mouldings for it (69-only Caprice mouldings on an Impala).

Actually the L48 350 with a 4-speed is a wonderfully flexible all-purpose drivetrain. Perfect for the era of high-octane leaded gas.
