Mark had come across a couple of kick panels for my Impala a while ago and we agreed that we should meet sometime. 

I had ordered new door panels for the Impala and they arrived today. Photos to follow

Was great to chat with Mark and spent an hour or more getting up to date.

My health and my wife's were topics of discussion.

I have been feeling poorly with little energy to do anything and my wife is recovering from her hospital stay of 3 weeks and then 3 months in a respite centre in Oshawa.  I was fortunate to be able to spend dinner time with her each night. 

Giselle is now home and has taken over almost all of the duties.   After selling her 2008 Malibu I have become the principal driver for grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions.

I continue to drive for Wheels of Hope twice a week taking cancer patients to their appointments and back home again.

it allows me time to get out.

My Hyundai is pushing 260,000 km and will need rear brakes, rotors, and whatever after Christmas.

Mark says both his cars are in storage for the winter. 

Anybody want to get together sometime soon?

The Impala is in limbo now waiting to have the new door panels fitted minus the ugly speakers and after the door panels are put on the car will then go to the body shop to have the right front fender and door panel repaired after my incident leaving the underground parking garage.

Thats twice the underground has bitten me.
