Here's the three page 1966 Pontiac introduction newspaper ad from the October 6, 1965 Edmonton Journal. South Park Motors is the dealership that my Grande Parisienne was sold new from.

The 425hp is always mentioned in the advertisements, but did any 66 CP's get that?

 We know for sure 8 Grande Parisienne's got the 425 hp but I don't think we know about the rest of the models. There's bound to be some but the question is how many.

I saw that figure in the "58-70 Full size production numbers" post. I assume that the reason there's only a few model's figures listed is that the only known figures are from the members who display their car's Vintage Vehicle Services report. It's unfortunate that VVS couldn't publicly provide a full list of all years & models figures. It wouldn't be giving away any other information about any specific cars, but I suppose retaining that exclusive information is what helps them get report orders.

 In the case of the 425 hp Grande Parisiennes, we have a member who stepped up and literally paid big bucks for GM to search the archives to find out how many were made. And I'm not joking about the cost being "big" to get that done.
