U-Hauls New Car Trailers

They look like an improvement over U-Hauls current offering.

I see the deck is 16'. I know lots of guys have 16' car trailers but my first one was 16' and I said the next one would be 18', which is what I got in 2007. I would never go back now that I have it. Aside from finally not having to crowd B body Pontiacs onto a trailer, I think it even handles nicer.

Those are the strangest looking fenders I've seen.  They look like they are CNC machined out of billet aluminum, though that would be very expensive.

Apparently they are designed to allow wider vehicles to "ride over" them with the tires. I just hope the vehicle that has to ride over the fenders has enough ground clearance for the rockers once the tire reaches the other side of the fender!

On the old Uhauls, you could flip the left wheel well over the side, to give you room to open the driver door.

That came in handy a few times for me.

I'm very tempted to convert the fender on my car trailer to do that. I've seen guys change their trailer to that and it sure looks like a great idea.

When I was racing my Corvette, I trailered it and had the same problem. I know it's lower than most vehicles. I cut 2 pieces of 2"x12" and put under the drivers side tires. ( I bolted mine on because it was dedicated to my car)

Should work on a "temporary rental" trailer. Get you home...
