GTO Restoration Guide anyone?

Does anyone have a copy of the GTO Restoration Guide written by Paul Zazarine and Chuck Roberts?

If so, would you be willing to help me out with a picture of the vacuum operated power trunk for 1966?

Thanks.

I have the book handy and can take a look. Can you provide guidance on where I might find the page?

Exactly, thanks Clint. And thanks Pete for the offer, that's exactly the picture I had hoped for.

I have this one, suspected that's what it fits and wanted to make sure. The picture confirms it.

You're welcome Carl. I think I actually got that book from you. I had it repaired 6 or 7 years ago.

I couldn't remember who bought it but I was pretty sure I sold it on this site.  Now I'm glad I did!

vacuum operated?!

That's weird - do either of you know if it was vacuum operated because the electric release wasn't created yet?

I would say that is correct. I think the earliest vacuum units I've seen are 1960 although it seems to me they started even earlier. I think the earliest electric unit I've seen is 1967.
