I just put a sway bar on my full size 65 wagon :) it has a 12 bolt under it and i found that the bar from a 73-77 A body can be made to work i will let you kow how it handels and if it has any interefence problems when i get the thing on the road but right now it looks GREAT and i always add rear bars to my cars it makes such a diferance
I used the 73-77 A body bar on my 65 Parisienne convt, and my old 68 Impala. It helps handling a lot. I have a rear bar from a late 80s Caprice cop car on my 69 Caprice 4 dr ht. It works but has a different shape than the A body bars. They all fit the 65 - 70 B bodies. Just bought a 68-72 A body rear bar for a spare.
OK I'll admit I've never been sure. What is an A body? Chevelle?
Yes, GM intermediates - Chevelle, Beaumont, Lemans, Cutlass, Skylark were all built on the same chassis - the A body. Firebird and Camaro were the F bodies. Impala, Parisienne, Delta 88, LeSabre were B bodies, etc.

your rear axle trac bar is bent though, it should be straight.
Do you have a picture of the correct type i have no problem fixing it :) I wonder how on earth it could be bent maybe wagons use a different one I will check my books

BTW it runs and drives great i can really feel how the rear bars tightens it up, and considering it has not been on the road since 1975 i am extreemly happy with how everything works just like i planned it wooohooooo
