I'm planning on being there. Wanted to take my Avanti but doubt it will be road ready, so I'm in the market for a turn key driver. Should have something by next week.
At this point, i am 90 % sure i will be there with my 57 Pontiac, if the weather allows it. If any fellow C.P. members see (this car) , say hello. Cheers. George.
The biggest show of the year is happening Sat. June 6 and Sun. June 7. This show really is the biggest there is in Canada. I got my 57 Pontiac all shinny, everything is loaded and i got my alarm set for 5:00 am. Picking up my best old car buddy at 6:00 am and away we go. The weather is going to be perfect and there is no doubt that the turn out is going to be out of this world. Hope to see fellow C.P. members there. If you see this 57 Pontiac there, stop by and say cheers. George
Uncle Bernie (John) and his very rare Cdn built Lemans with factory 454 and I, left this morning at 7 am and arrived at 8:15 Had a wonderful "Hot" day saw 1/2 of the cars in 8 hours Cars ran well... Great food Great rides (water and air)
What an incredible car show. Stayed the whole day and enjoyed every minute of it. Enjoyed meeting Linda Vaughn as well. Toured all those amazing buildings with all that amazing car stuff in them. This event is something every old car lover should experience. I have about 127 photos and most of them will follow. I am never missing this event in the future. Cheers. George.

Left Michigan with the L79 Beaumont @ 6:30am got to the show around 9:30, beautiful day. Parked in the NE field and met a lot of nice people, many of them new my car from the article in Old Autos. Wish we still had spots available for the upcoming Canadian Car Display @ the Sloan Show because there were so many great cars we could have invited.
Just when I was getting ready to leave Dennis Gage from My Classic car showed up and did an interview with me about the L79 Beaumont. He said it would probably air sometimes this fall.
Left a little after 5:00 and got home about 8:30, traffic at the bridge was Horrible, the north bridge was closed for repair and al traffic going to & from Canada had to use the south bridge, also a lot of road work on I69 just past the bridge, so anyone coming to the Sloan Show might need a little extra time. It was a long day be well worth it.

Yes it was a great day for vintage car buffs. I also had the honour of meeting Dennis Gage and after a lengthy wait for the helicopters to land he did a video interview with me and the 58 Parisienne. Looking forward to it being aired in the early part of 2016. Bob.
