This the 396 Sport Deluxe Beaumont that I owned in late 1967-68. The previous owner added the cross flag 396 emblems to the front fenders. V8 emblems were standard.
6T7SD396, theres a guy in winnipeg who sells wheelcovers and has been ebaying the wire wheel covers for the beaumont off recently... you may be interested, not sure if he has any left at this point, but they must be pretty rare to find!
Looks like it may be your butternut yellow car-it was maroon or burgandy before Kris Kolson got a hold of it and restored it back to the original Butternut color.Am I correct?
This one is for extra credit. Does anyone know who owns this car. This is a picture from 1989. Hint is the person that owns this car posts on this site. Any ideas?

Hey Carl it's David here, the convertible is 1 of 66 not 1 of 602 or 3.
Yes thanks David When Ken explained the differences in ordering I realized I had owned a rare car Glad you will be its eternal keeper.. I have flight booked for May 6 to go and get the one in N.S. it has its original drive line and big hood.. I think its a 1 of 66 too Carl2
Carl is that the original paint on the car? Do you know if the side louvres came painted or unpainted on that car? Just out of interest, the brochure shows full chrome louvres, i wonder if any were delivered that way...
I would think alot of people chucked those wheel covers, i was still surprised they were turning up on ebay recently...
Let me guess. You chucked them. I meant to ask you. What did you do with the V8 emblems?
If we only had a clue back in the day, I had a 1970 Charger RT/SE with an original Hemii and 4spd combo, leather interior and power windows. 1 of 4 built and the only one with these options. I bought it in 1981 or 1982 for $1800.00 US dollars. What a dumb thing to have gotten rid of it. I have quite a few that I had and let go but that was the rarest.
Here's some pics of my 69. It's almost all original paint, except for a repair on the passenger side rear quarter. Car is originally from Vancouver, as you can see by the dealership decal, "Jim Pattison on Main" It's a 307, th350, fairly basic model. Funny thing, the driver's side fender has the "deluxe" script, and the passenger fender says " Beaumont" These fenders have never been off the car, so it must have been a Monday or Friday in Oshawa the day this car rolled down the line. Also, the seat material/pattern and door panels in this car is the same as my300 deluxe Chevelle. These pics were taken Sept/07, the car is currently tarped up outside under mega snow.
This is what I started with, It looks good but had to replace everything, but the interior that was the only that was very good.I did all the work on the beaumont myself My nephew just splash the piant on it

The top was 2 weeks old,and the car had been "recently" painted.(1979) emblems were thrown away and wheel covers were sold a few years later Emblems are available from Dale's muscle car parts for 100.00
Barry you can tell your 69 isn't from Ontario. Looks like a great car to start with. The 69 Deluxe cars got the same interior as the Deluxe Chevelle. The door panels will say Deluxe instead of Chevelle. Are you keeping this car?

Heres pictures of wheel covers on mY 67 rag in 1981 top picture...The louvres were original chrome and I THREW AWAY THE EMBLEMS
I never owned a Beaumont but I almost bought one in Barrie in Sept 2001. It was a 68 SD 396 HT, ash gold, black vinyl top, T4oo, disc brakes, rallies with the correct disc brk Beaumont caps. Needed quarter repair but was otherwise nice. The vendor wanted $9K. I ended up passing because I was looking for a full size big block car. I saw what I was pretty sure was the same car for sale in Ontario the following year for $19K. Two Beamonts I remember from my younger years were a 68 Verdoro Green 2 dr HT that a woman in the next apartment owned back in 1970, 307, PG. And a beautiful white 66 convt. 283, black top with red interior. I walked past it many times on the way home from school. Last time I saw it it in the mid 70s it had big sideswipe damage on the full right side. It disappeared not long after that.
When i bought my 66 Acadian in 72 from a used car dealer on Kingsway ,in Vancover. the owner of this car lot was selling his sisters car for $850. She was the original buyer it had this sticker on the trunk lid too. I offered him $800 thinking to myself (oh well its at least a 2 door) sure wish i could find a few more in that price range ;) at least i managed to keep it all this time !
