Body styling is highlighted by a longer hoodline, shorter rear deck, new roof, grille, and rear end, hidden windshield wipers, and new front and rear marker lamps. The new interiors feature a newly-styled instrument panel, crank-operating side vent windows, and a new ignition warning buzzer system. The 1968 Beaumont Sport Deluxe Series comprises a Convertible and a 2-door Sport Coupe, and there are two engines available for the Series: a 396 cu. In. Econo-Jet V8 which turns out 325 hp is the standard engine; a 396 cu. In. Econo-Jet V8 which delivers 350 hp is available as an option.
