Unfortunetly I have to let her go. I am in the process of building a shop so I need the $$. Shes VERY RUSTY! I beleive the frame has a few holes in it too. Trunk is completely gone as well as the floorboards. It does have the original L-34 396 350hp engine and 12 bolt rear. Not sure of the automatic trans. Mostly complete. Factory console too. If interested send me a PM and I can send more pics. 4000.00 obo.
I got the scoop on Lloyd Hall Motors. They were located at the end of my street (King St). They were bought out by the Cochranes and renamed Cochrane PB. They relocated to HWY 19 near the 401. Rod Dench bought them out in the mid 90's. The dealer sold to Bob Searles last summer and is now called Searles Motor Products. I work for Searles! Todd
I checked some of my other Oshawa paperwork and I do have one for a 68 SD with 350 horse M20 four speed. The engine number ends with 4U. I would still contact George and have him check the info. I know that all of the 1968 325HP motors use the same codes as Chevelle.

yikes, you weren't kidding about very rusty. with all the replacement sheetmetal that's available, hopefully you'll find a buyer who'll save this rare piece.
Interesting that the cowl tag date and the date on the document are a couple of days apart. My 65 Acadian is the same. I wonder why that is. Maybe they make up the tag a couple of days before production?

Nice car. I have the identical looking car, ie same colour, same vinly top, with a ridiculous number of options, cruise control, fibre optics, rear defroster, wood grain dash, am/fm, red line tires, rear defroster, rear speaker, etc. . I think the last time I drove my car was 1986, maybe 1989. I found the car for my brother in 1976 and eventually bought it from him in 1986. It has about 75,000 miles on it and is in great condition. I might bring it out this year however I've been saying that for 20 years. Here we go; the response, ie: someone else could enjoy that car! Whats your point?
