Post Your Favorite Canadian Pontiac Photo's Here!

I'm sure most of us have a disc drive full of cool Canadian Pontiac photos. Why not share a few of them with the rest of us. I'll start with a couple of faves:
Here's a sweet 70 2+2 454 Convertible. I'm hoping the owner of this one finds our site. I'd like to learn more about it:

Thanks to Mark H. for posting this one on Yenko.net. It's one of my favorites:
It's a 69 427/3 on the tree Strato Chief!

Here's a photo of a 70 2+2 convertible. This is a factory 454 car. I took this photo in 1991, and was really photographing the 2 Players Challenge Camaros, but this was parked behind. The car had just come out of the paint shop after getting some rust repaired. I saw the car on a regular basis up until a few years ago when it disappeared. It was pretty rusty when I last saw it.

I've always liked this shot, American, but it's just cool to see one born.
Wonder if anyone has any Oshawa factory shots. I've never seen any.

While we're on the topic of pictures, it would be a good idea if when posting, you limit your size to no greater than 800 wide. As you know, the large shots just open the screen width to outside your average monitor width. I don't know anyone who likes having to use the bottom scrollbar to see the full image or text.

Resizing when you enter your picture using the toolbar tree icon,

- Enter the pictures address in the image url box.
- click on one of the dimention boxes, your image size will appear.
- Edit your numbers so that the left box (width) is no greater than 800.
- Eg; Ratio, If you took 100 off the width to get to 800, take 100 off the highth box as well.

I resized your image Striper.

Cheers, Mark

I wont say he didnt add them, but they were on it , when I first saw it ,2 days old.. I added them to my car, believing that because there were only 2 or 3 - 2 doors with big block, Oshawa put them on.. I know the air breather stickers were different.. So I ,as a self appointed know it all proclaim they are original lol CARL #2

Sorry if mine are too big, but when I click on the others that are posted here, they are only 3 inches wide, and very hard to see. I don't have a big monitor either.confused

I said I had posted my last Pontiac from my photos, but I lied..  Heres one i received from WilliamCole of London Its the only one i'v seen of a 65 racing   Its a car from Quebec, and running a strange class ,since Canadian Chevy-powered Pontiacs were not recognized by NHRA as stockers..

56 Laurentian - ebay pics from about 3 years ago

57 Laurentian from the Antwerp, Belgium factory, maybe not 100% Canadian but i know they didnt make many over there, and probably next to none survive. Its had the same owner for the last 25 odd years, this fotos from around 1982

57 Pathfinder, 6 cyl, foto from about 3 years ago and it drove as smooth as can be. Was local to me, havnt seen it since though.

This would appear to be a bit of useless information,  however, I had, and I continue to see, this vehicle sitting behind a house in Brantford, Ontario, ie a 1964 Pontiac Laurentian, 2dr. post, 230 cu. in., powerglide, tan on tan.  I purchased this from the original owner and it has been floating around town since about the late 1980's.  It had no options; no radio, no side view  mirror, no anything.  Oops, automatic transmission.  I had my wheels and radials from my 63 fuelie Vett on this and it drove great; close to 30 miles/per gal.  I always thought this would have made a great 409 cu. car.

59 6cyl Laurentian, the last pics of it are as i saw it on ebay, on its way to the boneyard last year, shame as when i spoke to a previous owner a couple years back he said it was the show car from the 'Earls Court motor show'.

59 Parisienne converted into a 'ute', havnt seen it around for a while

Ill sort out the 63s & 64s soon

cheers
si

Acadian, super Chevy show late 80's or 1990, Seattle Wa.

When I seen this car I knew one day I would have one.  Until I saw this car I had no idea what a "Canso" was.
