It is common knowledge that the 64 to 67 Beaumonts shared the same dash as a 64 to 67 GTO. However, it seems that the only tachometer that the Beaumont ever got in those 4 years was the 64 GTO tach, for all 4 years. Also, the GTO oil gauge/temp gauge package offered from 65 to 67 was never offered in Beaumonts. Wonder why.............

If the dash supported full instrumentation then you could order it. I have to say that I haven't seen a 64-67 Beaumont SD with full instrumentation but I believe it was available.

There is no indication of it in the assembly manual or parts book. I would be surprised, but never say never!

the best line i ever heard was "when you park a beaumont next to a chevelle the beaumont makes the chevelle looks like it has tin foil for chrome" so true;;;;;;;;;;
I had a '66 SD396 Beaumont with the tach, but I don't remember if it had the other gauges. The sales brochure just lists the tach with no mention of the other gauges. I have a hard time remembering what happened yesterday never mind 43 years ago. Not much help, am I. The Beaumonts were definitely a step up on the Chevelles, especially the dash.

Wow, nice Beaumont Keith, rare too I would guess. Is the building in the background the garage that you still have today? If so that must have been when you first moved there.

If so, I will retract my earlier statement saying GM never did that.
One thing I notice is that the speedo in his car has the Beaumont markings and the tach has the GTO markings. In the GTO's the speedo matched the tach.
My guess is that someone installed that after GM built the car.

It would be great to put a soft copy of the build sheet that pertains to this in the forum library for reference! Is somebody able to ask Brian? (Interesting option, especially considering it was originally a 283 car. Unless Conroy ordered the 283 with intentions of tossing it for a 409 LOL.)

I was sure he had posted his build sheet at some point but I have not been able to find it on here.

It would be interesting to see if they adapted a GTO harness or modified the Beaumont unit.
My friend put the entire GTO tach and gauge instrument cluster including speedometer in his 67 SD years ago. He bought it complete with the harness but I think he modified his Beaumont wiring to fit.

Those guages are not documented or ordered from GM that way, imo... they may have been added at Conroy, but I think unlikely there too.... they would have added that option to Cheetahs they built i would think, BBC/4speeds vs this car which was 283/pg... Nonetheless fun addition to the car!
