A couple of Manitoba Beaumonts

I took these pics around 2000 I think, at a show in Winnipeg. I believe the black car has been referred to in a thread here somewhere.

One thing I noticed is the tag number of the red car. I think 451 is the number of 67 SD Beaumonts built.

The black Beaumont that was refered to earlier was a Beamont from the west coast.

I refered to the black 66 sd as possibly being for sale (the owner is from southern MB area) in another thread. The red 67 (which i was second in line to buy for the grand sum of about $500 -it was in the autotrader)...is a base model convertible (the one with the connected beaumont trim on the rear panel)...there were only 72 67 SD converts, 451 i believe is the number of 738 hard tops (maybe converts are in that number?)

... the guy with the red one bought my gold/gold SD parts car and salvaged the buckets/console for his car (which was a bench) and sold off whatever was left of the SD chrome... how stupid was i to sell off a numbers matching SD car for $500 (and even then i had it advertised for a month in the buy and sell with no takers and it ran great!!) and not even keep the SD chrome as spare for my car!! ...yes hit me now!...
