I'll have to take the digital camera over to his house and snap a few. He's driving the '64 Parisienne sport coupe.... Nice car. The two '64 Custom Sport convertibles I haven't seen since before I married his sister (almost eleven years ago).
The '63 Safari wagon is in the shop torn apart, he fixing the body for the third or fourth time now... Lost count. The '57 Laurentian Safari is also apart.
I'll have to see if he has any pictures of the cars as drivers.

35, owned my beaumont since i was 14 ...restored the car from age 14-16...and have been driving it ever since! it's holding up pretty good for a 20 year old amateur restoration!!
Its hard to tell how old I am cause I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up but I sure like my cars. I am 37 and some days I feel 57 and some days I feel 27.

Hey guys, this is a cool thread. I best tell my age before my birthday gets here in about a month. I am a young 36! I see that not acting your age and owning old Pontiacs goes hand in hand. That guy above me who says he is 50, has definately never acted his age!
Another thing to note, there are quite a few guys with cars older than the owner. Any thoughts on that? Are we trying to act older or younger....hmm

I guess it's only fair to tell you all that this guy and I are blood relatives. We happen to share a very similar car interest. Actually, we are twins, but I was born just a bit earlier, as is the case with all twins. Earlier by 13 years to be exact.

I am 54 and have been into old cars forever.Coming from a family with 7 kids my parents could not afford new cars as we were growing up.My father has been my biggest influence in the old car hobby as he taught us kids it did not matter how old the car was it was how you kept it. His were always clean and well maintained. My Dad co-signed my first bank loan for $1000 so I could buy an Edelbrock torquer intake,780 holley ,headers, scheiffer 11" clutch Mr Gasket vertical gate inline shifter and overhaul parts to build my first engine a 350 -300hp 4 bolt main. This went into a 55 Pontiac Laurentian which I still own the body today. My parents are 80 and 81 and are spending 5 weeks in Forida. My Dad called on Friday to check on things at home. They spent last weekend at a swap meet in Bushnell and are going to Zephyrhills this Sunday for another one. Age does not matter in this hobby once the car bug hits I don't think it will ever go away. Al
I turn the big four-oh this year. Man does time fly! For the most part I feel better now than I did in my 20's. It must be my wifes wholesome cooking compared to all the fast food I ate back then! Todd
Well I feel so much better now that I know I fit in the average somewhere. It feels like the first time! At 46 I some times think my mission will be to leave as many restos behind as possible without claiming bankruptcy or being committed. My 3 boys are not the least bit interested in swingin wrenches yet in their 20's. Like was mentioned though I think its a money thing. Maybe when their mortgages are paid off things will change.
