I love Pontiacs....This site has some great cars. Although my car is outside of the really good Pontiac years, thought you would like to see that in 1978, Full size Pontiacs were great cars to drive and own and they held up. As I live in Pouch Cove NL, this car has never seen salt or snow.....and very little rain.
They are beautiful cars. My brother bought a brand new 77 or 78, I forget which. It had some kind of wild striped interior from the factory. Do you remember seeing those?
Have you got one of these for your car:

Nice car.... I think some of the late '70's full size models get over looked. What sort of options does your car have? Did you order the car new or fall in love with her on the dealer's lot?
Welcome to the group.

Even though I don't have forums set up for the later guys (yet) you are welcome here! Nice Parisienne. IIRC, driving these cars are like driving on a cloud! Great for long trips.
Welcome!! If you like Pontiacs, then you are in the right place!! Maybe you can head a Newfoundland chapter lol Hey, my wifes ,mother came from Newfoundland.. do you know her? LOL
Nice Parisienne. The first car i had was a 1980 Parisienne, grey with blue interior and V8 power, although by then of course horsepower wasn't all that great. Good car for a 16 year old. That thing was a tank. Now i've got the car i wanted in my youth, an 82 Trans Am. Yeah i'm a child of the 80's. I'll get some pics up soon. It needs restoring, and it will be kept original. Glad to find this site.
had a '77 parisenne with a 350 chev. probably the most comfortable car to drive i ever had.
Friend of mine's dad had a 77 Parisienne Brougham loaded with every single option you could get that year. Silver 4 door sedan, red guts, rallye wheels, it was a sharp car. Went like hell too. What was the largest engine you could get that year? 350 4bbl? Maybe it had a trailering package with a lower axle ratio as well, I just couldn't believe how hard that car pulled.

i don't know but this one has valve covers that look wider than a small block.....
Well they sure weren't offering Chevy big blocks from the factory in 77. I was just wondering if you could get something like a 403 Olds. They seemed to have found their way into a number of B bodies in the late 70's.
