Feb 1972 - traded 1970 TORINO 429 COBRA for 1972 PONTIAC VENTURA Sprint ($1000.00 difference)    - Fall 72, traded for a 1973 PONTIAC LEMANS SPORT COUPE($1200.00)difference    - FALL 73 traded for 1974 CHEV. NOVA SS hatchback  ($820.00)                  found this copy of Nova options.. thought you like to see it , just for fun!  edit p.s.  Sold 74 Nova, bought 1966 Corvette coupe -side pipes,teak wheel,leather, 4 speed  and oh ya  a 427-425 3.55's  85 in second 115 in 3rd 152 in 4th.. bought it for 5200.00 sold it for 6000.00  big deal!

We need a section for stories... lol     Corvette was so brutal, that at 60 mph, you would pull up, behind another car, poke out ,to see traffic  SEE a car coming,   AND PULL OUT, AND GO ANYWAY!!!!.....

put a little bit of rear gear in that 2dr post and you can 'go anyway' again carl 2. sprint.gif

the vette had 3.55s and would pull HARD to 5500     How much gear for the Chief ?

i put 3.73s in the bel air, would go with 3.55s if i did it again.
