At this point, I do not own a scanner, but intend to purchase one in the next while. In the meantime, I can only take pics of pages or relay information.
I have the Canadian GM Parts Catalogues for the following applications:
(Todd has already listed the 58-70 full size elsewhere.)
62-71 Acadian 62-69 Beaumont 71-76 Ventura 69-76 Tempest and Grand Prix 77 to present all body styles (The 77 and newer applications I can print for you from my computer at work. I am a GM parts manager)

Hi Carl, I am sure glad to know you have a 1969 Grand Prix parts book available. I have a 1969 GP model J 428-370 hp project car I have started to collect parts for and could sure use some verification when searching for parts!! When you have the time could email me the part numbers for the hood emblem both the bezel ,plastic insert and the bolts that fasten them to the hood.
If it's ok with you, I'd like to post the info here just in case anyone else happens to be looking for the same numbers.
Bezel 9797241 Emblem 9796311 and later changed up to 479190 Retainer 9797044 Nut 9420621 (3)
There is a 69 GP in a wrecking yard I go to about 200 miles from here. I try to do at least one run a year. I will see if that emblem is there, or do you want strictly NOS parts.

Thanks for the numbers. I want nos parts for the emblem and bezel because it is in such a prominant location. One bolt is missing though. When you go to the parts yard can you check out the hood. Mine is rusted through above the battery. It is repairable but an original rust free would be better. Thanks Al
Here a couple pics for ya...speaking about GP's. The blue one is parked on a street here in Calgary, the yellow one is a buddy of mines, one owner car(an older lady) when she bought it new in 69, she heard a report somwhere(?) about the rear ends of cars lifting up and going out of control Anyways, she went and had a spoiler put on the car...Off of a 1969 GTO. It looks a little strange on there, but he doesn't want to remove it as its part of the cars history...

You don't see too many 69 Grand Prix's in Canada as total sales were 3444. The yellow one looks like it has a 428 as identified by the chrome air cleaner top. They were pretty quick when new as Car Life reported consitant 14.1 quarter mile times with the 428 and 3:42 rear gears with the Air Conditioning on.
Yup, his is a 428...I think hes just putting the motor back in after refreshing it. Hopefully ready for the cruise season to begin. Oh yeah, I didn't mention, Hes only 17 years old. His dad's starting him out right...

I don't remember being that the original date of this post was so long ago. It may have been in some other section that he had mentioned he had the book. At any rate, I have it as well if anyone needs scans of it.

Love the spoiler story! I would keep the spoiler too. I know what she means though, I once drove a customers GP over railways tracks at over 100 mph and the rear end did lift up! I was scared.. I didn't want to worry the customer, so I didnt tell him lol
Kinda like the time my GM rep showed up at work with the 87 Trans Am GTA 350. They had just come out with the 350 in the F body. My wife works with me, and when the rep tossed me the keys, she smiled and said "I don't want you out there going 200k's" so I only took it up to 197k's...

I have a 58-70 book if you need anything looked up or copied etc. Todd
Does it have the section with all speedo gears listed with the colours and part numbers? See: http://canadianponcho.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=118110&p=3&topicID=17707843

It was an actual chart I remember seeing. It had the colours, the part numbers, and most importantly the gear ratios listed. It was in an early 60's full size Chevy parts manual. I'm kicking myself for not buying it now...

Congrats and thanks Carl, it's great having a master parts manager on the board with us. Obviously I'm looking forward to the scans. Sorry to make you work so hard on a Sunday night!

I posted the 69 charts for 4 speed, TH350 and TH400 in that other thread. However, after I posted I noticed still no colors shown. At least it has tire size, drive gear, driven gear and diff ratio.
Back to the drawing board!
Oh, and I don't call this work! This fun. I love it when guys call me at work for old parts. I tell them it's not work for me. There's nothing I love more than when I get in a part for someone and they tell me they tried at another dealership and were told it is discontinued.

What dealership do you work at Carl? I feel out of principle I should order the parts I need from you even though I'd be paying extra for shipping. It's great having someone at a dealer who knows and understands what an enthusiast's needs are!

I'm at a little dealership in a town of 400 people about 30 miles southwest of Winnipeg in a town called Rosenort. The owner started as a Ford dealer in 1956, switched to GM in 1962 and is still slightly involved in the business still today at age 78. His son is my age (50) and has basically been the boss for about 15-20 years now.
Feel free to contact me for parts help. It doesn't mean you have to buy from me, but I'm happy to help out with the old stuff. Makes my day a lot shorter!
On bigger ticket items, unless you are getting a good price from your local dealer, I may be able to make it worth your while.
