I paid less for my Laurentian (complete, drivable) than the going price on this SHELL! CLICK HERE hmmm...do I buy this:
Or this for less money: Don't get me wrong, I really like Novas but almost 6 grand for a shell that needs 1/4 work?? It probably sold for $200 in Arizona Sure, I won't be able to retire if I ever (but never will) sell it, but I'll have just as much fun with it!
$6000 is way too much for that Nova. You car find a decent running one for that price. Here is a cool one that will be great on fuel mileage and it is only a few miles from me.
did you see the ventura running with A/C IN FLORIDA FOR 3950.00? I think a nova front end fits? or a 396 will fit in ? every car I have bought, the guy I bought it from made all the money thier was to be made!!! ever notice you can buy a real nice nova for 18-20 thou and yet, a luxuy GS buick olds 442 are in the same range with a/c etc... doesnt seem correct
Oh, and the memories of driving around with your Dad in the 69 pontiac priceless ! I love the car don't put it down-way too many mainstreamers out there !
It just floors me what some people are asking for certain cars. The mopars are one I'll never understand. Sure, some of them are cool but people forget the build quality was absolutely crap when they were new. That 4 banger Nova is cool and seems right on the money. Now, would you keep it a 4 or swap in an 8? Todd
at that price, you have a rust free shell that just happens to drive...thats the way to go like going with a venturea instead of nova to get good body cheap...
That Nova is neat and would draw a lot of attention at car shows and cruise nights with that 4 banger in it. I have never seen a 68 -72 Nova with the 4 cylinder though I have heard of them. The car didn't meet the reserve so it will probably pop up on Ebay again. Al
