Does anyone have dimensions for this clutch fork? Length and how much kick back. It looks similar in the picture to the Camaro fork used up to 81.

THANK YOU!     I have looked for HOURS trying to find that number!(didnt find it)   There are 2 forks on e-bay that I am bidding on, But I will call these guys in the morning!    If I won on e-bay, the closing date would be the 12th and then 2-3 weeks for shipping... The wrong one from Ecklers, hasn't arrived yet and I paid them 29.00 to ship  They shipped it, Feb 19th..  At this point I don't care how many I have..   there is NOTHING to do, to the car, UNTIL I get FORK hmm   Thanks for caring enough, to find this site for me !  It is appreciated!!!          Carl2

My wifes nickname is Spoony, and you send picture of FORK?  What has driven, you nice family guys, to tease poor old me?  weirdface I would never tease you guys, or advertise a rare car, that was fictious..  You must be more serious!  I am a recovering retail sales person!   I need pampering!!!!!

Hi Carl
I just got off the phone with Stan. He said he may have one and that you should stop in and have a look at what he has. He is leaving on Tuesday for a week.

thanks!!   I spent a couple of hours with Stan today   lots of forks, nothing for me.. We need to put him in the Library, for  reference..  He got lots of parts Said he brought 21 frames back last year.  He's going to Ca. next week..I guess I am stuck, with waiting to end March for part.. Unfortunately it puts me into a busy time, and car will have to wait.. Once I put my 33fot trailer in place, car cant get out until next fall    Thanks Brad biggrin

I don't know if this'll help or not. I bought a 454 out of a 78 or so 1 ton chevy a couple of years ago. It was a 4-speed and the Z-bar pivot ball is mounted on the bell housing. I have no idea where the fork is, I've got lots of stuff that I still haven't unpacked.

For you parts gurus, is there any chance that fork will work for Carl2? I'd hate to see our March cover car laid up for the summer!!

barry,
it needs to be a flat, straight fork with no bend fore or aft.

Well, that's just silly. I know a yard that has some of these, and plan to be there in a couple of months. I'm gonna grab a couple, that's for sure.

You're tempting me to take a day off work, drive the 4 hours one way to that yard, spend the day buying parts (including a couple of forks) and coming home to ebay. I could make more money doing that than I do at a day of work.

For what I have spent on this, I could have flown out, picked it up and flown home... YOU are correct, with your amazing GM knowlege, you could go on e-bay, make a living ,and everyone would at least get the RIGHT part.. I did tell you about the tilt wheel? Fred sent it on the BUS..It was thrown, and the end is flattened(junK)  biggrin
