Are u allowed to tow both the 5th wheel and the boat like a b train?? Not allowed out here in BC. I drive a 94 tercel as my work beater and a New 2007 Tundra as my tow vehicle. Only about 15 mph with it. Don't check mileage in the Lemans.
Okay answer to your post, There is about 3.78 litres to a US gallon, so as of today 1.05 per liter of gas ( 87 oct) is 3.96 dollars per gallon. But this in no way deters driving. I drive the QEII everyday and do 100 to 110 kph, I get pasted like I am am standing still. (110 is 70 mpm) Thats their choice I would rather save A few dollars for my Goat, to enjoy summer cruising. Although our's is a hobby ( our Cars ) how many other people can say , "we own 3 plus cars but only drive 2 of them "
fuel here in small town tilbury is 1.03 litre, I feel the fuel pinch in my gmc 2500 with a 6 litre gas pulling my 30 ft fith wheel and boat, get about 450 kms out of 100 litres
My 2001 2500HD gets 10.4 mpg pulling my 08 Prowler 29 ft dbl slide. I dont care, because truck is paid for...$8995.00 on e-bay. My friend crows about his '05 4 DOOR Ford diesel getting 11.3 ,but guess what? he has 3 years of payments (LEFT) @ $880.00 per mo. Whos saving what? lol Carl2
Paid $1.29 per liter in Fox Creek AB. for diesle last night. In 8 months the price of a liter of diesel has gone up 50 %, as I recall my real estate value is down, my mutual funds are down, the price of a barrel of oil is down, my pay check is the same. Whats up??? other than the price of fuel???
I am not sure if all truckers do however most I deal with just add a fuel sur-tax to their bill. At least most of the invoices I sign have a sur-charge for fuel. I signed one yesterday for $.20/km and 1000km = $200.00 surcharge. John
