I am looking for a 1958 Laurentian 4 dr w/348 - will look at anything in any condition - looking to restore as this was my father's first car - pic attached of 2dr - correct colour, and then 2 old photos of the actual car in the early 60's.
UPDATE - AFTER FURTHER CAREFUL EXAMINATION OF THE POSTED PHOTOS, AND SOME OLD GM BROCHURES ONLINE, I HAVE DETERMINED THE THE OLD PHOTOS I HAVE OF THE CAR ARE OF A "2 DR SEDAN" NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE SPORTS COUPE, WHICH HAD NO B PILLAR. I LIKE A 2DR BETTER, BUT HARDER TO FIND.
For those that care - the two photos with people in them are my family - before I was thought of - centre photo is the south shore of Hay Bay Ontario outside of Napanee - Summer of '62- the other photo is in the drive way of 220 Mack St in Kingston ON in August of 1962.
What great photos and a classic colour combo from late 50's. My uncle had a 59 4dr in the exact same colour combo, he liked it so much that first Christmas he actaully painted the family Christmas tree to match with all white ornaments. Good luck in your search.
Does it have to be a 4 door? There was a pristine 2 door 348 Laurentian or Parisienne for sale-I just have to remember where I saw it. I think it was posted on here... Todd

I saw the car on Perry's site - his is a Parisienne and is a 2dr - look closely at the beginning for the white rear insets - the piece of chrome at the beginning of it does not have the extended strips going back - easy way to tell them apart - the name infront of the front wheel is different, but not easily distinguishable in photos.
If this isn't the car for you MC, then what is? Pricey yes and a Parisienne, but my god, look at the thing! It's gorgeous! How much better can you get?

It is gorgeous, but I'd have to save for a long time before I could ever afford anything like that!
May be the car Todd's remembering too but there was a '58 348 powered 2-Dr. Post car advertised in a few places a year or so ago.. I think it was advertised for less than 20 thou...didn't sell on eBay and was on Kijiji after that.. I've never seen it before but think it may've been in Lakefield near me here in Peterboro'?.

1958 pontiac has a 1968 327cui from a camaro the engine has be cleaned up and painted, has all the trim and a complete interior. needs front floor pans, outer rockers , trunk pans. i have all the replacement panels except the trunk pans. i also have over $1500.00 in new and used parts. i also have a rust free frame as the frame that's there now is rusted out at the rear frame rails.car is alltogether except for front end, have rust free fenders and hood. engine is installed in car.
This car sold at the RM fall auction in Toronto in 2008, I believe, for somewhere around $16K as I recall. Perry wanted $25K, but the guy in AB who bought it from him wanted less; then it ended up in Toronto for the auction. It needed interior work but was otherwise quite nice, and as the picture shows, it is a beautiful car.
HELP!!! Anyone - if anyone has seen this (one the post above this one) car before, or since these pictures were taken, please help . . . . I need to find this car . . . . wherever it is or was
