Amazing what two men and a 14 year old boy can get done in less than 8 hours.

At 8 AM, they weren't on our yard yet. They left before 5 because it was a hot day and they were tired.

Yes, now that you mention it. But it's not a workshop (wink, wink)

When I look at your signature I am reminded you could totally fill this 6 car shed on your own!

Your car will get "special" parking here anyway, I don't think it will see the inside of this shed!

We get a good discount because of our good driving records, that's it. A speeding ticket could end up costing me several hundred dollars for a minor ticket if the planets were all lined up just right. I forget exactly what our merit discount is, but it's lots. They make it worthwhile to keep a clean nose in Manitoba when it comes to driving.

Maybe I shouldn't get that 327 4 speed Acadian project done too quick................

I call it a shed because it's not a shop in my eyes. To me a shop is a place to work. This is a place to store. The garage is my shop. This one would kill us to heat it.

I'm envious.Your shed is bigger than my house.I'd use it as a shop.I would be out there in a snowmobile suit in the winter.Instead of heating it,I'd buy a lift that you could park a car on top and one underneath.

There could end up being a lift one day to use in the summer. However, the workshop is the 28x28 attached garage on the house. It heats easy and cheap. I have a VERY understanding wife. When we built here 14 years ago, she agreed her driver could sit outside (so I could use the garage as a workshop) as long as I brush off the snow and scrape the windows on her car in the morning. Now I won't have to do that any more because her car will get to sit inside. Even though it will be uninsulated, she (or at least I!!!) won't have to deal with the snow/ice any more.

There is going to be a mezzanine floor for the first 12 feet in the back of the shed. I can't see that collecting much junk....... 12' X 28', I wonder how many car parts a guy can pile on that much area!

When I used to drive truck cross country. The thing I still remember about MB is those millions of bugs.I was stopped in Headingley one night and they were flying into the truck so hard it sounded like rain.Do they make screen doors for the garagewink

Some years they are bad and we simply make up screens to cover the openings, yes. We have some gorgeous evening here, and this year has been no exception. Just recently the mosquitoes showed up!

You wouldn't be jealous if you were writing the cheques.

It's gonna be WAY over budget!

I imagine you likely have a non-Canadian Poncho that you want to store since it won't be getting an engine any time soon.........

I may just have to freshen that old 396 and settle for that !

The rag is put away and the blue car is home so now I can get to the "to-do" list on the Acadian. I put the trunk weatherstripping in tonight..... Maybe I won't get gassed when I drive it now.
