If you are using Windows, just open up your picture. Then, right click on it and choose "edit"....It will open up in the paint program. Go to "Image" and then "Stretch/Skew"...Enter a smaller number in the boxes...same number in both will keep it in proportion. Then save it.
reduce a pic down to a size that I can use as an avatar? Is there a program that I can use that can be easily downloaded from somewhere?
If you are trying to add an avatar picture for this site it will resize automaticly. Go to the User Details tab under the picture of John's wagon and when you get to that screen you will see a tab on the left named Avatar. Click on that and upload a picture from your hard drive.
