I have had many good things come out of being on here.

Now again tonight, one more reason to enjoy it here.

10 years ago, a nice guy from a neighbouring province made a deal with an American on a car, and our home happened to be not too far from halfway between the two. They were both POCI members. They met here on our yard(even though I was unable to be here due to my inlaws 50th anninversary) and made the deal while I was away. I kept in touch with the Canadian member for a while, but eventually lost contact. I lost his phone number and address, and forgot his last name as well. Try as I might this winter, I could not figure out who he was or how to find him.

A few minutes ago he PM'd me to let me know he is a member here, hoping I'd remember him. 

How cool is that???

Oh, and for the record, the car they made the deal on here (I at least got to see the car) was an OHC6 Lemans convertible......
