1966 Beaumont 230 6 cyl engine

I have a 66 230 6 cyl engine that is still in the car and runs decent......other than some smoke when first started.
I am unsure of the mileage,I think the car said 80000 something on the odometer.
I am selling the motor complete ie: carb, starter, alt, dist etc
Looking to get around $150.00 for it all

motor will be pulled out on the long weekend

located in Winnipeg Manitoba

Thanks

Great deal for somebody.

Hey, have you ever posted pics of your big black car??? I would love to see some. I wonder if I haven't seen it around at shows sometimes?

There was a 30,000 mile black 65 Custom Sport I looked at many years ago. Is this the car?

Well...when I recieved the car from my grandparents(around 1980) it had 22000 miles...they had bought it new and I have all the paperwork from when they bought the car.........it now has around 60000 miles on it......but the car has never been for sale....

I bet that's the car. I don't think it had been for sale. We met somewhere at a cruise night type thing I think. It makes sense about it being a car from the family. That sounds familiar. Where you late teens/early 20's then? It's a long time ago, but it seems to me that the person driving it was young.

'Course, I was young then too......

I'm 50 now, so the age is likely about right because I remember being jealous of this "kid" who had a VERY nice black Custom Sport!

Got any pictures of it you can show us?

Oh shoot, rusty windshield channel!

Did it sit outside under a tree or in the shade a lot? I've seen that rust them out.

Yeah.......that is what started the whole paint job thing...........front and rear windows both leaked.......

The car actually spent most of its life outdoors.....from the day it was bought
