Hi Carl,

If you remember, what did the 1960 Pontiac 2 dr. for sale for $2499.00 look like? What model?

That car was a beautiful black hardtop with 74,000 miles and original paint. We couldn't give that car away!!! I wanted to buy it but had no money at the time. I have no idea where the car ended up, sadly.

No, I left that dealership about 18 months later (Nov 85) to come to the one I am at now. It closed up about 18 months after that.

The last 2 places I have worked at only made it about 18 months after I left............. I must be a REALLY good employee!!!

I've never actually been anything but a parts manager. I was at a very small dealership (about 8 employees) and covered for the boss in sales when he was away. We had arranged that I would run that ad while he was gone. If I remember right, it sold 2 new Acadians for us. The boss was pleased...

I have probably only sold about 20 new cars in my life. Sorry to disappoint you Carl!!!

Best part is, I was sitting at the boss's desk for that picture. It was fun playing a big shot while he was away!!!

I've never been the boss, so I have no idea what it's really like.

Did you check out the "long" list of options on that new Pontiac Acadian? It's so loaded, it even has a block heater and a radio..........
