Came e-mail from Don Earnshaw member's car for salr
have really been thinking of not selling this car because of it's rarity, however, you can't keep everything. I am going to be selling my 1967 Pontiac Beaumont Custom Convertible. This car was bought from the original owners who bought it brand new and drove it out to BC from Nova Scotia back in the 70's. The car ended up sitting behind their house until this last year when I got my hands on it. It is an all original 67 convertible 283, 4 speed with buckets and console. The numbers on this car is what makes it so rare. There were 408 of the convertibles made in 1967, but in (brackets) on the documentation it states that out of those 408 cars, only 30 total were built with the 4 speed transmission. This car is one of 30 cars ever built in 1967 with a 4 speed transmission and everything is numbers match. The car is in very good condition considering. The car does need some floor and trunk work, but the frame is mint and everything is there for the car, even the convertible top boot for when the top is down...found it in the trunk. As well, the dealer tag is still on the back deck between the taillights. Also, I have the warranty protection package along with protecto-plate. The only thing missing on the whole car is the center grill emblem which some clown pried off when the car was sitting. Anyway, a great rare project car for someone who is looking for a rare convertible. I am asking $14,900.00 o.b.o. and money talks. This car is only being offered to club members at this time. A friend bought new a 1967 SD 396 4-speed claims it had air, I aquired GM documentation with no mention of the air or power seats that he claimed, never seen factory air in one yet, the 69 down in the states has underdash air, the 67 SD rag in Florida shows factory air but again no supporting documentation, this car advertised would be a 736 V.IN. rag there were also 738 V.I.N rags
