Ha, ha ... I've only been on the Island for a year and a half, but I've found out that things are done different down here. I heard a lot of strange things!
I was talking to a guy one night at an anniversary party here about classic cars, and he told me that his family buried several of their broken-down cars on the property and ran a pipe to them from the house. They were used as septic tanks!!! They would fill one up, and then onto the next (I hope they had the car's windows rolled-up). I've repeated this story to a few Islanders since, and they have all heard about this practice.
Ahhhh ... life on Prince Edward Island!
P.S. The new owner of these free cars still hasn't got back to me. I'd like to see the Acadian.
