Got any more pics of the car?  I'm curious about the Pontiac emblem as the general consensus here seems to be that Acadians were a brand name on their own rather than a Pontiac model.  Could that Pontiac emblem have been added by a previous owner?  Thanks!smile

That's what I'm thinking, although the emblem in the first post differs from the one you posted in that there is no maple leaf in it.  Might be a year-to-year difference though.  I don't really know much about the details re these cars.

i ran into a guy in moncton last year at the atlantic nationals who had pontiac decals on his 66 or was it 67 acadian. anyways i think he had them on the trunk lid and also on the glovebox. i didn't take any picts but should have. he was a really nice guy. but i asked about the pontiac decals and he told me he had put them on himself. we talked a little about the acadians and i got him up to speed on the marque

Just be aware there is a difference and not all floor pans are the same quality. I am not sure what Cross Canada sells quality wise. They may well be very good.

Where are you located, or did I miss a post that stated that?

PS I found a SS Acadian in a yard, contacted the guy, he s not ready to sell, but any longer it won t be salvageable. how can i persay him  or make him understand it s rotting really bad. the hood is rusted right thru. I sure could use parts off this car !!

I was doing some clean-up in the garage yesterday and came across some new windowsweepers in the box for 2 doors - this is the weatherstrip on the outside of the door and rear side window glass.  The box says they are for "Nova" but we all know they really meant to say "Acadian". wink
Make me an offer.

I don't want to steal the topic, but does anyone have a decent pic of a Beaumont emblem? Just need a nice detailed picture from a 66 or 67.
