I would go with the U35 being right. From what we (or at least I) have learned since coming to this site, to be a big block 736 car it would have to be early in the year. The build date 2-6-7 is very late, so that wouldn't make sense.
The nice thing is, this car is easy to document through GM Canada to prove easily if it's a real big block car.
Personally, from what I see I would say it is not, but I've learned to never say never.

I'm gonna give this my best shot: first, the model in 73617 beaumont custom V8 2dr HT Production is June 7, 1967 day shift.
67 option codes that end with 35 M35 powerglide L35 325hp 396 U35 clock
Now for the options Cowl tags list "BIG" options that were installed on the assembly line. A51 bucket seats C08 vinyl top D55 console M35 powerglide TP27 vinyl top color
As for the "M35" It is for sure M35, i have never seen a 67 cowl tag that printed the engine option, they just never did it. that rules out the L35. Also, being a "custom", all customs had clocks, so that rules out the U35. Before anyone gets too excited, it is a later production small block powerglide car that someone ordered with buckets and console option. I've seen it before. not an SD car in any way shape or form.
Car was originaly white, so if you scrape off all the layers of blue paint, i'm sure you will find an "M35"
If not, i will be in total shock, and you can all call me crazy.
Also, to back up my evidence. there will always be a transmission code on the firewall such as M35, M20, M21, M22, M40. UNLESS, the car had the basic 3speed standard column shift. The 3speed colunm shift was NOT available behind a BigBlock.
3speed floor shift was...... M13
Hope this helps

I hate it when someone else is right and I'm wrong, but that's the way it goes.
I'm sure Dave is right, it will be M35. When I think about it, I have never seen an option as trivial as a clock on the cowl tag. And yes, the trans is just as he stated.
It just doesn't look like an M, but it must be.
