Just in case my plea wasn't seen on the board news forum, I'm looking for a pre-58 Canadian Pontiac to use as the June feature car. If you wish to be famous for a month, please PM me. I'll need some good photos and a brief write up on your car. Todd
Yes, you should own the car and it's only fame. Speaking of fame, you'll notice the site is top of the list if you Google "Canadian Poncho". Now to make it to the top when you type "Canadian Pontiac". We're close thanks to the Kijiji ads..

Hmmm, does that mean if we run more Canadian Pontiac ads on Kijiji it will move it up the list???

You can use mine if you want,, Canadian built 1950 Pontian fleetleader special, Built in Oshawa july 25 1950, Model 2208 - 4 door sedan, one of 2737 (Same model no, only) for sale in Canada. Mine is half way through the production run # 1551, I bought it October 2006, and have only replaced the tires to date, In the process of building a garage for it that will hold a 4 Post lift so I can get to the underside, have All sorts of parts ready to go on. I Found this car in BC where I had driven past it for about 20+ years, It sat outside an Antique store and I thought it ws part of a display, one day I decieded to stop and see what it was and above it tacked on to a telephone pole was a windbent for sale sign, well the rest of the story is easy called the guy up, Paid what he wanted and two weeks later transported it to Red Deer Alberta. Now the real work begins once the garage gets built, looking at keeping the straight Six in it if it runs, I have not even tried to start it yet until I replace the gas tank and fuel lines. Parts that I have include full brake system ,all new electrical parts , carpets (which it did not come with) and I even have a brand new set of dupont seat covers that will be fitted over the original seats for now until I can afford the reupholstery, looking at changing the interior to Red from the original Grey
No problem 69Laurentian, maybe the next time you are looking for a pre 58 you will consder me again. maybe by then I will have it up and running, ...Bill
