See you guys there! I am shooting for 7:30. I haven't been able to make the first 3 due to other commitments and this week didn't look good either but my schedule cleared just like weather.
I checked this out last Sunday. It will be there tonight with a for sale sign on it. 1979 Parisienne Brougham - loaded. Are you guys familiar with the car?

Yes I know that car. An older gentleman owns it (well he's older than me). It is pretty nice, I think he has owned it since new. It is modified with a good dual exhaust system I believe.
So Astro Jet, 65 Camino and I met up. Pleasant enough night. In terms of Canadian Poncho cars, there was yours truly's 73 LeMans, 73 Astre with a 350, 63 Parisienne 283, 79 Parisienne 350, 69 Beaumont convertible 307 and I believe it was a mint 1962 Acadian Beaumont station wagon. 65 Camino may have photos. The other US Pontiacs there were a 67 Firebird, 69 Judge and a 57 Chieftan. There were about 80 cars out so Ponchos represented about 10% There was also a Torpedo back Pontiac that made a circuit and peeled out which I wished had stayed, it had a lumpy idle and was rat'd out.
Two other cars peaked my interest besides the Ponchos, an early 50's 6 cylinder Plymouth with dual carbs on a Fenton intake and exhaust and a 79 Ford Futura with a mildly built 302. It was nicely done with OEM parts and a Cyclone Spolier functioning hood scoop.
Astro Jet and 65 Camino may have other favourites to mention.
No can do, Leaside Gardens Board meeting to attend.
aren't you going to be adding a second sheet of ice there finally?
Things are progressing, City has purchased old Film Censor Board property up against rail line giving us the room to build the second pad. A few political and financing hurdles still to go, but having the property is a BIG step.
