1969 Parisienne Paint and trim codes

Hi all,

Looking for help or confimation on the paint and trim codes on a 1969 Parisienne Convertible:

Paint 691 B (Palladium Silver with a black vynil roof?)

Trim 806 (Black vinyl split bench?)

Unfortunatley there is a gap in my own books that skips over 1969.

Thanks,
Allan

If no one chimes in tonight, I'll check my books when I'm in the garage tomorrow.

Thanks for the replies guys!

I ran across the '69' code as well and was wondering about the '1', but it is definitely on the plate. There is enough "silver" poking through in spots on the car I looked at that I was pretty sure that was the original colour. (now red)

Thanks again,
Allan

Got any photos of the car? We'd love to see another 69 full size on here!

Hi,

Here is my first post to this forum.  The car spitfireal is referring to is mine.  he was doing an appraisal for me as I've just purchased it.  I've got a 69 2+2 convertible and now also a 69 Parisienne convertible.  I'll try to post a picture of the 2+2 here.  I don't have any yet for the Parisienne.

The plan is to drive the Parisienne while I restore the 2+2 over the next couple years.  I'll likely be making more use of the site in the coming months but I do check it from time to time every couple weeks.

Al

 Nice 69' Al.
Did you run over some hood insulation?

I'm located just north of Georgetown.

The "hood insulation" is no longer required after fixing a nasty tranny leak from the front seal of the powerglide.

The car looks nice in pictures but does need a lot of work to make it right.  The previous owner did a lot of rust repair but there were several shortcuts taken that I don't like.  I'll be doing a frame off restoration beginning this fall (hopefully).  I'm sure I'll need some advice form others in this forum as I get into the job.  I particularily like the pictures of the rotisserie fabricated by a site member.

Cheers

Al
